NEWS

Professor Antonella Ferrara, as visiting Professor at the Harvard University, on July 13rd gave the seminar "Optimization Based Higher Order Sliding Mode Control: Theory and Applications".

Seminar abstract

The University of Pavia is one of the partners in the European Project ITEAM on Vehicle Dynamics Control and Estimation. The project will start officially on January 1st, 2016. Prof. Antonella Ferrara is the Coordinator of the University of Pavia research group. Within the project there is the possibility to open 15 Early stage researchers (or 0/4 yrs Post graduates) positions, guaranteeing scientific supervision oriented to make the researchers attain the Ph.D. title at the end of the project.

One of the positions is available at the University of Pavia, under Prof. Ferrara's supervision:

ESR4 "Robust wheel slip control in multi-actuated ground vehicle via sliding modes generation" at University Pavia (Italy)

During the project the researcher working in Pavia will have the opportunity to spend 2 three-months periods abroad in 2 important European automotive companies.

All the application details can be found in the EURAXESS portal.
